A blurry image of the Full Moon from this morning. I keep hoping to catch the Ten-petal Blazing Stars open- but not yet. Night blooming flowers can be a bit tricky. Never theless, I liked the way the light was playing here. So I stopped to take a few pictures.
The Lab always shoots me a glance as it to say- “this again?! Can’t we just keep walking, please?”
What always makes me laugh is how easy it is to create an image that tells a very different story than reality. Not with filters or photoshop, but just by framing it right. This image is of a small group of flowers that I found a few years ago along the train tracks near the center of town.
The nice little berm in that the flowers are growing on completely obscures the neighborhood that sits about 150 meters off, and Mount Helena does a great job of providing a nice background.
Perspective.
