This morning is off to a very nice start.
SMR, the Lab and I did a beautiful 60 minutes across the face of Mount Helena- lots of birds, flowers, peace and quiet, a couple of neighbors out early walking on the hill. Great way to start June.
I’ve been trying to get a decent image of this Calliope Hummingbird for about 2 weeks. He is predictably in the same spot a couple of times everyday. Today, the light was perfect. I’m pretty happy with this image. Blanket Flower and Cutleaf Daisy are popping nicely, too.
On this National Trails Day, I hope everyone can find themselves on a trail for even just a few minutes. And I hope everyone’s trails are happy.
