It was 35° (1°c) and snowing when I snapped this image- which was wonderful. But we’re heading towards a low of -20° (-29°c) on Friday morning. More snow is forecast and we have a high wind warning, as well. This may be the last trail walk for a few days. The Labrador is getting a bit older and his paws don’t handle the sub-zero weather. And he is steadfastly against paw mittens.
But today’s was a beautiful walk on the flanks of Mount Helena- walking while snow is falling in the forest is a gift. According to nearly all the reliable sources, it looks like most of North America is getting some pretty harsh weather in the next few days.
