Today was nice. I was out at a bit after 6am for our first walk and had a nice variety of birds. I made it back out two more times and ended up with a daily total of at least 23 species. The list- Belted Kingfisher, Spotter Sandpiper, Rufous Hummingbird, Eastern Kingbird, Meadowlarks, Magpies, Merlins, Kestrel, Great Blue Heron, Yellow Warbler, Starlings, Rough-winged Swallows, Tree Swallows, Robins, Vesper Sparrows, Cedar Waxwings, House Sparrows, Grey Catbird, American Goldfinch, Caliope Hummingbird, and Cooper’s Hawk. I walked a local sculpture park, 10 Mile path (2x), and a short bit of the western Mountain Trail.
