I was walking along the western trail on the mountain today and I saw several Red- and White-Breasted Nuthatches feeding and walking upside down along the trees so I stopped and watched them for a bit. Then I noticed one of them was more Wren shaped, but brown above and white below. It was going UP the tree. Then it dawned on me that it was a Brown Creeper. First ever. Sadly, no photo was able to be taken- it was a quick little bird.
