It was 58 degrees when we left for our first walk of the day. We saw a Great Blue Heron, Spotted Sandpipers, Gray Catbird, Bullock’s Oriole, Vesper and Savannah Sparrows, Magpies, Meadowlarks, Brewers Blackbirds, Starlings, and Robins. All before 6am. My coworker saw two yearling woodpeckers flitting about- I hope to see them soon.
I was also fortunate enough be able to snap a picture of a Calliope Hummingbird. No new species, but a good day nonetheless.
