We floated the Missouri today- 3 kayaks and canoe. Put in at Mid Canon and took out at Prewett Creek. There were White Pelicans, Osprey, Golden Eagles, Bald Eagles, Kingfishers, Ouzel, Mergansers, Eastern Kingbirds, several species too skittish to identify and American Avocets. What elegant, lovely birds they are.
It’s really lovely to be able to get out and walk in the morning, float a lazy, scenic river into the afternoon and come home to another nice evening walk with the pup. very lovely, indeed.
